The shop is really cute but parking can be a nightmare. I love the fact that the ice cream is homemade, though it's not the best ice cream I've ever had.. but it's good! I enjoyed a scoop of cherry (which was good) and a scoop of pistachio (which was really good). Maybe I'm missing out a wee bit, since I don't do that soda thing (and therefore can't try some of their offerings), but I don't get the "OMG, I won't eat ice cream anywhere else" thing. Another bonus: I love that you get an extra "punch" on your scoop card for showing a Keep It Local card, too.. I'll go back for other flavors, I have heard wonderful things about their coconut.

Roxy's truly has my favorite ice cream! On top of that, the atmosphere is just so happy. I was always a fan of their ice cream truck, so I am so happy that they opened in the Plaza District!
(4)Sarah M.
How does a truck this cool exist?! When you see this truck, get some ice cream - even if you aren't hungry. Otherwise, you'll have that same feeling you got while watching My Best Friend's Wedding when the moment 'passes them by' on the boat. I had one scoop of the cookies and cream on a perfect spring day and it was lovely. There were several flavor options and some ice cream cookies available. There was about a 10 minute line when I went but it was well worth the wait for a genuine smile and great product. Use your Keep It Local card here and feel good about not letting the moment pass you by.

Roxy's has wonderful ice cream! When I saw they had pecan, I asked if it was butter pecan. I was told that it actually had more of a caramel flavor and once I tried it, I agreed. It was wonderful! They also have wonderful, light sorbet. I am very cold-natured and can only eat ice cream when I am not already cold. When Roxy's ice cream truck happened to be near my office, I bought a pint and put it in the freezer at work. That way I could eat small amounts when everyone was gone and I could adjust the office temperature to my liking - perfect! I am glad it will soon be warm enough for me to consider eating ice cream and for Roxy's truck to be out more freaquently - hopefully near my office!

Awesome ice cream without the creepy ice cream truck driver. If only more ice cream trucks were like this one. Then I probably wouldn't hide in the closet every time I hear the ice cream truck music. Wait, did you hear that?! $3 gets you a single scoop, $4 gets you two. I chose the coffee and cream for that mid-day pick-me-up. I would like to see more flavors offered but I realize that space and resources are limited, especially considering its homeade, handspun ice cream.

I LOVE Roxy's. I still miss my Boston-based J.P. Lick's, but Roxy's is a great substitute-- even if she IS harder to find, being a truck and all. The icecream is all homemade hard icecream, but softer than most ice creams. It has a good melt point, solid in the shade with the edges getting melty in the sun, and a great mouth-feel, not too sweet or too cold. The flavors change over time, but there are always some standards and some more interesting ones, though she unfortunately doesn't go too far out in experimentation. My favorites are the strawberries &cream, and the cherry. I'm hope, hope, hoping she does something berry for this summer season!

This ice cream truck doesn't need to play a tune for you to run out and enjoy some of their delicious, ice cream goodness. Once you hear they're going to be at an event, it makes sense to go to the neighborhood they're in instead of waiting for them to drive down your street! Roxy's is easily one of the best food trucks in OKC. Not only is it one of the few dessert ones, but the owners are so sweet, just like their great products. You can buy it by the scoop or by the pint! Enjoy a cup, cone or ice cream cookie and then go back for more after you realize you ran out of ice cream and are a sad child without it in your life. Becoming a regular of an ice cream truck is definitely one of the many goals I had in my life, and I am not ashamed of that. They now know my regular is "salted caramel," and man is that stuff good. I was scared it was around just for the holidays because Starbucks likes to toy with people's emotions and have "salted caramel hot chocolates" and "salted caramel mochas" during the season only, but have no fear because Roxy's likes to have it all year round. I like to think they do it for me. Another lucky thing is that Roxy's is at almost every event. I don't know how they do it, but they must love the community they're in a lot. I mean, how could they not? A community of food trucks needs to grow, and it looks like they're aware and are willing to step up to the plate by being everywhere you would expect to see an ice cream truck. In case you can't go to an event of theirs, you can also get their ice cream after you chow down on some grilled cheese sandwiches at the Mule in the Plaza District. How can you say no to grilled cheese, fries AND a scoop of ice cream? I'm sold. I'm cold (from ice cream). I'm not too old for Roxy's (or any ice cream). Peek into the window and see some people that truly love what they're doing, and take time to enjoy a scoop of ice cream with them.
(5)Anna F.
I'm not really sure how you can go wrong with ice cream whatsoever, but Roxy's is certainly doing it right. They have a nice assortment of flavors to choose from along with their cookie sandwiches. I had the strawberry cream during the Open Streets OKC event and thought it was very good. I'm looking forward to trying the salted caramel next time. Their truck is adorable as well and can be spotted easily in a crowd. They also have a rewards card that you get double punches for if you have a Keep it Local card!
(4)Joe C.
I'm moving these guys up to five stars not because they have delicious ice cream (though they do), and not because they have fast and friendly service (though they do), and not because they participate in Keep It Local (though they do). I'm doing it because we were driving around the city the other day and saw them parked and without thinking, I cut across several lanes of traffic, made an illegal u-turn and got me some ice cream. Anyone willing to bring out my inner traffic scofflaw is doing something amazing. Ice creams, sorbets ... you name it, it's great.
(5)Rosey H.
How can you NOT love ice cream?! To be honest, this was the best ice cream I've had EVER. I tried a double dip cone with salted caramel and chocolate at Live on the Plaza last night! It was heavenly and so satisfying. Service was fast and friendly!
(5)Carly N.
Cute ice cream truck! There were only 6 flavors to choose from but that made the decision easier. It cost $3 for one scoop and $4 for two. I tried the strawberry N' cream and pistachio. The woman who took my order was so nice! She had a huge smile on her face and just seemed really sweet. This ice cream truck also takes credit cards. I liked that you get a punch card - free cone after you buy 10. Prices are decent, they have friendly service, and this truck shows up at a lot of events for anyone who has a craving for ice cream!
(4)Todd T.
OH yeah....the 5's are fully deserved. Sucka for the strawberry. Great stuff!
(5)Davin B.
Lovely ice cream shop. Really good texture. I had the coconut and graham cracker. The flavor profiles are straight forward so no swirls or nuts are unique flavors mashed together. But the ice cream left me satisfied and happy and let me enjoy the smooth creamy deliciousness. The decor is cute and inviting and employees where friendly. They were atempting to help someone find a cab company when I was there.
(4)Charlene L.
I had heard from a few locals that Roxy's ice cream was a huge hit, so I decided to try it for myself. The shop was bright, colorful, modern, and still was able to give off a homey feel! The girls that worked there were so polite, sweet, and helpful. They had about 15 different flavored to choose from. A single scoop was $3 and a double scoop was $5 offered in either a cup or cone. My friend and I decided to share a double in a cup, with one scoop of Coffee and Cream, and the other of the Mango Sorbet. Wow. Both were amazing! The coffee flavor was creamy and rich and wasn't overly sweet, while the mango sorbet was light, fruity, and tasteful. I would most definitely recommend these flavors and this ice cream shop to anyone within the Oklahoma City area.
(4)Katherine B.
My heart belongs to that yellow truck! I've yelped like a little girl when I've seen it unexpectedly parked at an event I'm attending. I don't care how full I am, there is always room for Roxy's!
(5)Elaine Z.
Roxy's was at Shop Good's Mustache Bash on Friday, so I tried their lemon ice cream. It was the perfect amount of tartness/sweetness, and definitely refreshing after a long, hot afternoon!
(4)Byron H.
Not bad, but not amazing. I had a "Plain Jane" ice cream cookie, and surprisingly the cookie was the best part. I sampled both their "cookies and cream" flavor and vanilla, and wasn't terribly impressed with either. The cookies and cream in particular was very yawn. Didn't taste like any kind I've had before, and not in a new or interesting way. However, my friends all seemed to enjoy their choices, so perhaps just avoid those two? Botique prices (5$ for an ice cream sandwich is a bit silly), but that's the area.
(3)Matt P.
I could gush on and on about Roxy's and how they have the best ice cream ever. But until you walk through their doors in the plaza, or visit their bright yellow and pink truck and order a scoop (and hopefully that scoop is coconut because I have dreams about it--its so good) it's nothing words can explain. Another favorite of mine is the salted caramel but you're kidding yourself if you can order the wrong thing here. I've never had a and scoop of ice cream or an ice cream sandwich that I didn't love. Plus, Roxy is a cute dog and I love cute dogs.
(5)Matt M.
Creamy and delicious. A nice change from my usual trip to Braum's. The prices are a bit high, but that is expected. The salted caramel is delicious. And there is some variety for the health-conscious ice cream lover. But vegan ice cream? Doesn't sound appetizing, and didn't necessarily see many enthusiastic thumbs up from those that were trying it. It was Live on the Plaza night and the place was packed. But another way to look at it is FULL OF ENERGY! Good eats, good treats, and good feats!
(4)Rachael B.
It may sound like an exaggeration, but one cone at Roxy's convinced me that moving to OKC from out of state was going to be okay. I finished a day of new job-related nerves with a scoop of their vegan German chocolate. While sitting and enjoying that tasty combo of chocolate/coconut milk, coconut flakes, and pecans, I suddenly felt amazing. The German chocolate is one of the rotating flavors, and is worth trying for both vegans and meat-lovers alike. On my multiple return trips, Roxy's has consistently had great ice cream and great service. I've only selected the German chocolate (in order to have as much as possible before they change flavors!) but also had a taste of my dining partner's salted caramel which was delicious and creamy. Can't wait to see what fall seasonal flavors they come up with.
(5)Adam W.
Great local business! Stopped in with some officemates for a quick treat... great flavors, love the vibe. REALLY APPRECIATE that the gal behind the counter washed her hands after handling money, prior to scooping the tasty treats. Seems trivial to many, but a deal "maker" for me!! :) Won my heart! Can't wait to bring my wife and kids... Tip: Salted Carmel tastes like butterscotch schnapps. Boom. Just blew your mind.
(5)Shay B.
An ice cream shop is a much-welcomed addition to the Plaza! Plus, now I don't have to chase down the food truck if I'm hankering for their salted caramel or their pistachio ice cream. Yay! The store is so well done. It is decorated in a way that is bright, bubbly, and welcoming. The staff are always friendly and have big smiles on their faces. I mean, how can you not? It'd be hard to have a bad day at Roxy's. Make sure you bring your Keep It Local card, because it gets you two punches on the frequent customer card. I can't wait to keep using up my punches to score some more ice cream!
(4)Scott H.
Had a fun dessert at Roxy's after a dinner/birthday party at Empire. Roxy's isn't huge, but it's got a decent amount of seating for such a small place. There are maybe 8 or so seats at the counter, plus a few tables. And, when the weather's nice, there is outdoor seating as well. There is a clean restroom as well, which I appreciated after my 5 year old was finished with his ice cream and needed a thorough hand washing. You walk to the counter and order, and they are pretty good about getting your order out quickly. My boy had a scoop of vanilla bean, which was good. Very creamy with strong vanilla flavor. Way better than your normal grocery store ice cream. I went with a float of one of my favorite flavors from childhood: Dreamsicle. It is $5 for around a 20 ounce float. They make their own orange soda, which was great. I could have used a better ice cream to soda ratio, hence the 4 star review rather than 5. I felt like it was heavy on the soda and light on the ice cream. But, the bites/sips I got that had enough ice cream were fantastic. Creamy with that perfect orange flavor. This was a solid ice cream float. On future visits I'll try the root beer float as well. They've got a cooler packed with pints to go. Additionally, the cookie sandwich was popular among the group I went with, and it looked fantastic. It was a great place to take kids after dinner at one of the surrounding restaurants, my boy and I absolutely will return.

Now that Roxy's opened their brick and morter I feel like I can't get ice cream anywhere else! Roxy's is so darn cute inside and the always smily employees keep me coming back! I could order the pistachio every time, but the graham cracker and vegan german chocolate specials have me sold too! Order in an waffle cone though otherwise you aren't really living.
(5)Robert A.
Had to make up a new business since I think people are using the food truck address as the brick and mortar. I could not check in when I visited a few days ago and saw that the address was wrong so I think that one is for the food truck. Anyway on to the good stuff. Don't know much about OKC but this looked like it was an area that was in the process of being renewed. There were a couple resturants and a bar or two around this ice cream joint (which I thought was a little odd since there were a lot of younger people inside), but hey whatever works. Easy to find with the huge sign. Apparently this was a decently popular ice cream truck. The place wasn't super packed but there definitely was a steady stream of people coming in. The line moved quickly and I got my ice cream sandwich (Mean Green - pistachio ice cream/chocolate chip cookie) to kill my sweet tooth for the night. The inside was very clean and well lit. Very basic which I thought was very well done. The ice cream (pistachio) had a lot of pistachio pieces and had a good flavor. The cookies were a little thin compared to other ice cream sandwiches I have had before, but the cookies weren't so overly sweet it killed the ice cream which was a good thing. Didn't seem like there were too many choices when I searched yelp so hopefully this will stick around for a while and be enjoyed by many and the drunks from next door will respect the place. It was a pizza joint next door, but not too many people or kids eating pizza. Everyone did have a beer in their hand though. All in all it got me the sugar fix I needed and I would go back if I was in OKC again.

Who doesn't like lists? Jerks, that's who. [] What's Perfect [] The customer service is... On. Point. I mean... What is up with the employees at this place? They're so happy. And not in a phony way. They're genuinely happy and kind people. Their personalities fit so well with what one would expect from a place like Roxy's. The employees also serve to remind me how other places are just as kitschy and fun looking while having begrudging, and resentful service. ::cough::Pinkitzel::cough:: KeepItLocalOK: They take it. Get an extra punch on some card thingie. I doubt I'll be filling that up any time soon because... I like not having Type 2 diabetes. I'm kidding. This place won't give you Type 2 diabetes. However, your need to eat an entire pint of ice cream by yourself on a regular basis might. [] What's Ever So Slightly Off [] The Graham Cracker is really good. So is the Salted Caramel. The Coffee and Cream is okay. They're all mostly good. But... That's it. They're really good. I don't know... Maybe I was expecting it to change my life based on some of the reviews. Regardless of what you get though, they all melt really quickly. Gobble that business up quickly. The price is... ::makes scrunchy face:: Yeah, yeah, homemade ice cream, fair market price, et cetera. But the prices still cause some brain freeze. How do I explain my issue in a way that makes sense? Okay, so here are some prices for comparison: - Talenti's Gelato is $8/pint. - Capogiro Gelato is $10/pint. - Braum's Ice Cream is $1/pint. - Roxy's Ice Cream Social... $9/pint. Maybe when you're ordering a single serving at $3, you're not really thinking about how expensive this ice cream is, but... This is stupidly expensive ice cream. Not gelato. Not custard. Ice cream. I mean... I'm not saying I don't like Roxy's. I like it. I do. Is it better than Braum's ice cream? Yeah, but I'm not sure it's not thaaaaat much better...

Gave this place a try during Live on the Plaza. I had read such great reviews and seen the amazing pictures, so we just had to try this place out. So if you have not attended Live on the Plaza, it's a mini or major (depending on the weather) street fair. All the local businesses on N.W. 16th stay open, people perform, food trucks set up and everyone has a great time. Setting the scene here... hold on. The line for Roxy's was out of the door and spilled into Empire Slice House and Oak and Ore. The lines converged and spilled down the side walk. Still, it was a pleasant wait. I mean, you are in line for ice cream, right? The shop is as bright as their flagship food truck. Yellow walls with pink accents. The menu is pretty hefty for an ice cream shop and there was a variety of about 15-20 flavors to pick from. They also offered cookie ice cream sandwiches and floats, in addition to the standard cone or bowl option. Also, check out their homemade sodas. Spicy ginger beer, root beer and orange. I opted for the 2 scoops in a bowl. Scoop 1 was pistachio. I love this green concoction. It was the perfect blend of that hard to get to green nut and sweet ice cream, with a hint of salt. Scoop 2 was the cherry. Bright pink with huge chunks of maraschino cherries. The flavor was light and bright. My husband chose the "Cookie Monster" with two huge chocolate chip cookies and a giant scoop of chocolate chip ice cream. It looked amazing, but I was not allowed to taste it thanks to David's cold... or maybe that was something he told me so he would not have to share...hmmmmm. Anyway, the damage was about $11 and was well worth it. The texture of the ice cream was firm, and creamy. The flavors, full and well rounded.
(5)Vinton B.
Being a plaza local, this shop obviously has an amazing location. A great addition to the already exploding district and right in time for summer! The service is surprisingly quick for how packed then place gets. The ice cream is wonderful. I hope they get a bit more variety, but what they have is fantastic. I think I'll go get a root beer float now!
(4)Marina M.
I got an extreme discount on my "cookie monster" (cookies and cream ice cream between two chocolate chip cookies). The discount was because someone left a 50% off card or something. The cookie monster was every bit as good as I thought it would be. Cookies were homemade, so was the ice cream. Would buy again for sure. What keeps this place from 5 stars? I've just had better ice cream, and I've had tastier cookies. I liked the texture but I wasn't tasting much but sugar. I kinda want a hint of chocolate or vanilla, or something? Maybe I'm being too picky. I literally got this for $2.17 lololol

Local ice cream ALWAYS for the win. Roxy's transition from truck to shop in the Plaza is a dream come true because now we know where and when to find it. All.the.time. (12-9pm, 1732 NW 16th St) I'm just saying: no more praying to Buddha that Roxy's cute little ice cream truck will be at H&8th or Premiere on Film Row or whatever. (But they will!) The truck painted a signature butterscotch and butter yellow, topped by a bright fuschia wave has made my kids squeal, "pleeeease?" more times than I can count. That truck is what dreams are made of. We love the Salted Caramel and the Mint Chocolate and the Pistachio and the Coconut. We love them so much, we haven't had one of the fountain drinks (!) or ice cream floats (!!) or cookie sandwiches (!!!) or sundaes (!!!!) If a single or double scoop isn't quite enough, you can always purchase a pint to take home. Just sayin'. Once you start going to Roxy's on the reg, don't forget to grab a loyalty card: buy 10, get one scoop free. Double punches with your Keep It Local card! Wheee!
(5)Kyle F.
Roxy's is perfectly placed in the Plaza to cap off a meal from one of the neighboring restaurants. The family has been here a few times for dessert and enjoyed quite a few of the flavors. All were good, but the stand-outs for us are the salted caramel and the coffee and cream. However, if I'm being honest, the prices were a little on the high side for my price-to-taste scale. Don't get me wrong. The ice cream is good, but I just don't know if I would seek it out if I weren't already in the area for food.
(3)Elisa S.
Loooooove this place. Finally, somewhere I can actually have ice cream! They have the most delicious vegan friendly german chocolate ice cream. Mmmm. They're right next to my favorite pizza joint, which makes it even better!
(5)Magic J.
The ice cream is delicious and creamy. I had the salted caramel. It's a cute and quaint looking ice cream parlor. Five stars is generally hard to earn from me. The service was good enough and the inside was comfortable enough, but both where not great, so four stars is still solid by my book and this place is definitely worth your money if you are in the area and looking for a cold treat.
(4)Lyndi Z.
This is not the ice cream truck from your childhood, it is a total upgrade! The truck itself is so cute, the flavors are inventive, the ice cream perfectly creamy, and bonus: no creepy dudes driving the truck! I had the salted caramel ice cream cone and devoured every bite. My husband also surprised me one day with an ice cream sandwich and it was delicious, but the ice cream is by far the standout in the sandwich and I'd probably rather enjoy a cone. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get, and it is almost dangerous because you don't feel guilty about spending the money (just the calories!). I can't wait to go back and try other flavors... Just writing about it makes me want to track down the truck!
(5)Meredith D.
If you love ice cream and you are in OKC, make a trip to Roxy's. They have so many delicious flavors of ice cream and soda. And the interior makes you feel like you stepped back in time. It's a fun place to go with kids as well.
(5)Renita W.
Yummy yummy! Be prepared a regular scoop is three bucks but it is worth the splurge! The best salted Carmel ice cream ever! It tastes like hand churned from my youth. There is something about the texture that makes it extra delicious. The place is really fun and funky as well. It is painted bright banana yellow and the staff is fast and friendly! Will definitely be back! I want to try an ice cream sandwich or a sundae next time.
(4)Tyler F.
Mean Green was delicious! Cool place, great atmosphere. Family friendly. Lots of flavors to choose from and the staff are very friendly.
(4)Alf O.
Good, but not great cookie ice cream sandwiches.
(3)Ben U.
We are die hard Roxy fans - no ifs and buts - we load the entire family into the car and drive miles to get ice cream at the truck. We were so excited when the store opened - aka went visited their first week! Very disappointed in my mango sorbet - pains me to say this - unfortunately had left in the car so didn't go back to talk to them but while eating I found an eyelash and 2 pieces of plastic in my ice cream. This has never happened to me before!!! I was so upset! They have amazing ice cream, they are local and not a chain - everything we love and support - I think quality control needs to be stepped up now that they are expanding. But every other experience has been delicious - strawberries and cream has got to be the best flavor ever!!!!
(3)Maggie F.
I love ice cream and dessert of any kind, so I might be a bit biased, but this is one of my favorite food trucks in OKC. I always try to catch Roxy's when the truck is near me. They are also one of the quickest lines at H&8th! What I love about their ice cream is it has that homemade, creamy taste and texture without being overly creamy and extremely, extremely sweet like Marble Slab, Cold Stone, etc. While I love the super sweet ice cream every once in a while, the tamer versions like this are what I prefer. I have tried the salted caramel, cookies and cream, and strawberries and cream. The salted caramel is delicious and unlike anything I've had before. The strawberries and cream was great but a little difficult to eat out of a cone because of the large frozen strawberries. I think the cookies and cream is my favorite because (wait for it)... it has Oreos AND cookie dough/chocolate chip cookie bites in it. GENIUS. They've basically combined the two best ice cream flavors into one. I have yet to try their cookie ice cream sandwiches, but considering that's one of my favorite ice cream treats, I'll have to try it soon. I'm sure I will since I basically stalk Roxy's on Twitter now. DEFINITELY give it a try if you see the truck near you!
(5)Tiffany W.
I love this little ice cream truck! The owners are friendly and you can tell they really love what they do. We enjoyed ice cream at the showing of Frozen at the Myriad Gardens. Between my kids and I we had salted caramel ice cream (just the right amount of salty and sweet), cookies and cream ( tastes like real cream and the cookies were sizeable), strawberries and cream (my 2 year old wouldn't let me have a bit). Last was mint chocolate, (has real mint in it and the chips were big too). I am pretty picky with my ice cream and I can say her ice cream blows Braums and Bluebell out of the water. So soft and creamy, I can't wait to have more!
(5)Erin B.
utter perfection every single time. LOVE this place! the cookies and cream, salted caramel, and graham cracker are all to die for.
(5)Heathery H.
I stopped in here at their store location with a couple of friends. This was our first Roxy's experience. My two friends each had a cookie sandwich while I had the Dreamsicle. Each of our items were $5 + tax. The price point was a bit too high for what we received. Our treats were good, don't get me wrong, but $4 would have been the ideal price for the sizes received. Also, the service can be a bit slow. It took about 10 minutes for us to receive our treats. Part of the problem is that although there were two people behind the counter, the guy wasn't doing hardly anything at all and just letting the lady do all the work. It was kind of infuriating to watch actually, and we felt bad for her. Anyway, we liked our treats and would go here again if we were already in the area.
(4)Vanessa D.
Roxy's is simply awesome! I've been to both their truck and new location in the Plaza District. All the flavors are absolutely delicious and very creamy. So far I've tried the salted caramel, cookies and cream, and coffee and cream. They also offer double stamps on their reward card if you have a Keep It Local card!
(5)Rachael F.
How have I not rated Roxy's yet? I first discovered them at the 2011 Plaza Festival. WOW! I now always have my eyes peeled for the bubble gum pink ice cream truck when I'm at events and food trucks are around. Their popularity caught on quickly. They now come to our annual orientation at work. They are usually at H&8th, and now they have a brick and mortar store on the plaza which I was finally able to try out. Their store is just as bright as their truck. They have a long list of regular flavors with daily specials. Their ice cream sandwiches are really unique, and I'd recommend sharing. I prefer the ice cream come in a cone though. I'm a huge fan of the salted caramel. My next favorite is probably the mint chocolate chip, followed by the cookies & cream, and then the chocolate chip. I feel like I've had straight up chocolate before and really liked that too. It's all delicious! Oh, and the strawberry is good too. I've not had anything I didn't like. Their ice cream has the best consistency, not too hard, and not too soft, and is very smooth. It's full of flavor, and not sickeningly sweet. The staff has also always been so friendly and nice. I'm a huge fan, and it's my favorite ice cream treat in the metro.
(5)Gaudy D.
Great Ice cream! And I love their specialty flavors that are served on different days. Great atmosphere and an awesome addition to the plaza district!
(5)Gigi N.
What a cute little store! It had the soda fountain vintage vibe to it. Their ice creams weren't overly sweet nor tasted too creamy. I love their pistachio. Their salty caramel tasted like a nice salty drink. I think I've found my new ice cream shop in okc!
(4)Lauren S.
I went there Saturday at around 2. There was a bit of a line, but totally worth the wait. I ordered the coconut ice cream on a waffle cone. The order came out quickly and tasted amazing! The restaurant is decorated in the most cheery colors and is definitely a happy place to be. I will visit again soon!
(5)Alex H.
Best ice cream in town. Great flavors! And a nice little local place for ice cream on a hot summer night. They also do to-go pints for like 9 bucks. It's a great little place!
(5)Julie S.
Let's see. What do I love more than ice cream? Ice cream brought to you by local entrepreneurs? Ice cream brought to you by local entrepreneurs who also happen to be darling and lovely? Yeah. So that. That's Roxy's, in a nutshell. Or, perhaps, a waffle cone. Yeah, that. Today I had the rich, fresh ice cream with crushed up chocolate and vanilla cookies. So cookies and cookies and cream? Yeah, that. It was so good, I actually told Yelp Intern Chris that it was the best thing that had ever happend to me. And while that might not be entirely accurate, it was pretty wonderful. And the truck is so dear!

I'm an ice cream lover. I have tried their pistacchio, salted caramel, strawberry, and cookies and cream. I would definitely say my favorite is the cookies and cream! When I first ordered this, I thought it would be similar to any other ice cream. It had a mix of Nilla and Oreo cookies in homemade vanilla ice cream! The ice cream was perfectly smooth and didn't taste artificial. Will definitely keep trying new flavors!!

What's better than icecream from an adorable little truck? Icecream vendors who take Keep It Local! Your Keep It Local card at Roxy's will earn you an extra punch on the punch card they give you. At 10 punchies, there's a free cone in it for ya! My first experience with Roxy's was at the H&8th market downtown. I honestly couldn't tell you if the price was decent or not -I wasn't paying attention. I just wanted some icecream! I opted for vanilla because I'm BORING! But they had a handful of other yummy looking flavors like pistachio, strawberry and cream, coffee and cream (?), and chocolate. Food trucks always bother me a LITTLE when they don't have a specified location, but then I suppose if you can move around, then you should do so for better business! BUT they have a Twitter and Facebook you can follow so you can know where your next delicious treat will be at. I feel bad when I don't catch the name of people working the trucks, because I want to mention them in my reviews, but this particular woman was very nice! She was so full of smiles, which is pretty awesome when you're getting icecream. It feels like a childish experience and I want the person selling me the icecream to be just as happy about it. You go, girl!

One of my favorite food trucks to stop by while at H&8th Night. The Monster (Chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich) is probably my favorite dessert ever. Although their Pistaccio and coffee ice cream is very good too. Always friendly and great service, a very popular place during food truck nights. Can't wait for the their own local shop to open so it can be easier to grab a treat!

There were choices of a single or double dip in a waffle cone for $3 or $4. A pint cost $6.00 and ice cream cookie sandwiches cost about $5. Let's just say this Ice Cream Social Truck is the BOMB DIGGITY FOR REAL.com lol. They even had a gas can for tips that read, "GAS MONEY", how cute was that. I will follow them on twitter and fb to see were the next Roxy's Ice Cream Social Event will be. I tried the Pecan and the cookies and cream which was superlicous if I must say. Also they take cash and or debit cards and can email your receipt.

It was a ice cream kind of night at H&8th. There was way too much stimuli going around and my friends and I wanted to unwind. We were craving ice cream and were welcomed by the cutest little truck. Ever! A hand dipped ice cream truck!!!! It reminds me of Katy Perry. If she had her own mobile ice cream truck, this might be her's :) My go to flavor is cookies and cream and I have no complaints with Roxy's version of my fav flav. It's not a rich thick ice cream that you would find at Braum's. Just enough creaminess and icy goodness for a warm day. Got a Local card? Use it to receive a discount!
